I didn't start with a venue. I didn't start with a big team. I didn't start with everything figured out.
I started with an idea, a terrace, and the certainty that Punta Cana needed something different.
The moment it all began
There's a moment every founder recognizes. It's not the day you register the business or the day you design the logo. It's that quieter moment—when you look around and think: This has to exist. And if nobody else believes it, I will.
That was my moment.
I lived in a vibrant city, full of movement, with people eager to connect. But there wasn't a place where that connection could truly happen. A place that wasn't a restaurant or a bar. A place where you could create something with your hands and leave feeling transformed.
That was what was missing. And that's what I decided to build.
A terrace, a canvas, and a lot of daring
Aloeve started at home. Literally.
My terrace became the first studio. Unpretentious, unperfect—just the right space, the right energy, and women willing to relinquish control for a few hours.
The first session was small. Nervous. Exciting.
And in the end, when I saw the faces of the women who had arrived not knowing what to expect — leaving with a piece in their hand and something lighter on their chest — I knew this was real.
What nobody tells you about building something from scratch
That which is difficult and beautiful at the same time.
There are weeks where everything flows smoothly and weeks where you have to remind yourself why you started.
That the business teaches you as much about art as it does about yourself.
But it also teaches you this: that when you build something with purpose, people feel it. And they come to you.
The community we didn't plan — and that changed everything
What I didn't anticipate was the community.
I thought I was creating a space. I ended up creating a home.
Women who came as clients and stayed as part of something. Who returned week after week. Who brought their friends, their partners, their daughters. Who started writing to us not only to make reservations, but to share what they were experiencing.
Today, Aloeve is not just a studio—it's a real community of women who support, inspire, and grow together. Women from Punta Cana, from different professions, with different backgrounds and ages. United by something as simple and powerful as creating with their hands.
That community is the heart of Aloeve. And it's what I'm most proud of in everything we've built.
What's coming
Aloeve continues to grow.
This summer 2026 we are opening our physical studio in La Nube Square, Vista Cana — a space designed so that everything we have built together has the home it deserves.
More sessions. More training. More experiences. More community.
But with the same essence as always: a warm, non-judgmental place where you can create, connect and be yourself.
